probably be over 500fps...which means it's considered a firearm and if barrel is 105mm or less then it's a prohib!

I've seen little conversion kits on ebay that will allow you to shoot primer propelled pellets from a 1911 etc.

I have a 6" .177 pellet gun barrel that fits in a 9mm case that little primer spits those pellets with more force than the 400fps air pistol I used to have.
