Are we ALL terrorists now, up here in Canuckistan?

I live a few minutes north of the us/can border, lots of Canadians i know around here have american post office boxes, saves a ton on shipping, never get any problems at the canadian side, HOWEVER the Americans have a problem with export of anything firearm related, a friend of mine went down to get his mail a few days ago, was expecting a new scope in the mail he had ordered online, so he had an e-bay receipt of his purchase on the front seat of his pickup on the way down, the american border crossing lady spotted it, told him he would not be able to export that without a bunch of bull#### paperwork first, and since he has been stopped on the american side coming back into canada and searched by us authoritys. I used to spend quite a bit of money in the us supporting the local towns and business south of our border, not anymore. Instead of figuring out how to screw locals going about day to day business they should concentrate on educating thier youth and think about a plan for paying back the trillions of dollars they have no intentions of ever repaying. All superpowers are doomed to fail, history will repeat itself, sadly we will get the shaft as a result of thier stupidity as well.
 
Incidently it's not just "hardware" that's choked by this - I'm going to Florida at the end of the year and wanted to take a low light course from Wade Rorich, guess what. "Due to ITAR regulations......". The same goes for the better known specialist courses.
 
Took me almost a year to import a Ops-core ballistic helmet (VAS shrouds are also considered a separate entity and require another set of paperwork + contribution to the State dept.) when they were first dropped.

If you want something restricted; talk to the kids over at Airsoft Canada... They don't seem to let pesky little things like ITAR to stop them :D.
