Thats what I am talking about.

I was on Vacation in U.S. ( Maine) last august . The Mosin's at a shop there were $100 and had way better quality stocks then what i have seen here lately.

I assume its the luck of the draw, most of them are imported sight unseen. Some crates have some much nicer ones in them and it seems that the sellers in Canada ask a premium price for those when they are unboxed.

I was able to hand pick one out of a crate at wolverine in Red Deer , spring 2011 . Got a ex cond with a nice blonde stock for $127 I saw a batch at a shop in southern Alberta recently . Looks like they got into a fight with a bunch of Woodpeckers !! . Not worth $200 .

I would say it depends on where. I was at Cabela's in Lacey, Washington on black Friday and they were on sale for $150.

I was in the Tulalip Cabella's on that same weekend, and they had them on for $139. Also saw a Norinco SKS in fair shape for $399....
