Are WK180Cs still unreliable?

Shot my friends today and it was surprisingly great!
Got one of the more recent ones. It's not had any function issues but it sure as h€ll has some Quality control issues.
My barrel nut came loose at about 100 rounds. I could unscrew it by hand. Had to add a barrel shim to get the handguard indexed properly with the upper and still get the barrel tight.
The place I bought it at had 3 of them and I picked one with the tightest upper and lower lockup.
The colour was marked on the boxes as black but it was definitely a navy blue colour which I actually think is really cool. The only problem was one of the guns had a black upper receiver with the lower and handguard being noticeably blue.
The parts were not rinsed enough out of the anodizing tank so the finish was very blotchy but it cleaned up well with a good rub of G96 gun treatment.
It seems like they really rushed to get the latest batch shipped out so I am glad I got to hand pick mine.
Despite the quality control issues, its is a good rifle and the machining is excellent. I will definitely be upgrading the trigger, grip and buttstock. Would be cool to put a side folder on it.
Only 400 rounds so far but no failures.
It's no AR but as an affordable NR semi auto that takes AR mags, its pretty good.
