Are wolves the new bears? Trappers group says wolf hunting ban repeats mistakes...

At one time the timber wolf was not in Algonquin until the OMNR decided to study and trapped some and fenced them in, in the park and when they finished they let them go.

Wasn't too many years ago the Algonquin wolf was known as a Texas Red Wolf descendant. This was apparently proven through DNA (I don't know how Texas Red wolves were shot out along time ago) Just another attempt to get more attention for the cause.

Think, in the end, there's only ONE species of wolf.

They will regret such a decision.
Here in Alberta they are way out of control due to a multitude of poor wildlife management decisions and that's with us being encouraged to hunt and trap them.
Let the tree huggers witness a pack kill a herd of Lama's for the sheer joy of it returning every night for a few days until the bloody carnage ends only due to no more victims left.
Perhaps a real world education would help pry some heads out of there rectums.
