After dragging the eighth deer of the season out of the bush this year I would have been ecstatic to have had at least one of them nestle itself onto the roof rack BEFORE I shot it. There may be a lot of road hunters around here and I'm thankful for them, they make sure the deer hold up in the thicker stuff and the out of the way places -- where I am.
Should I be driving to my hunting area and spot a deer while en route, I will gladly add that one to the meat pole too. Never been one to turn away gifts.

Lots of fellas on here from the flat lands admit to baggin one on the way to the hunt...I have seen at what percentage of the time that happens..You aint kiddin nobody.Invites go out to anyone who wants to experience bush hunting. If a week passes and you aint filled your quota "driving to the hunt"(ya right) then you to may have to go anal on one

Only about 1/4 of Alberta is open bald prarie. Mountains, foothills and boreal forest cover the rest.
Educate yourself before you make any more dumb statements.

As an aside, where the heck does this "flatlander" thing come from when talking about Alberta? I guess if you're used to shooting around barns and ditches, open space must be pretty intimidating!

Dave Dave, dont ever get the notion your going to leave shoe marks up my back,and down my front. That notion's been thought by some before to an embarassing end..Offer the hunt properly. Not a whole bunch of guys talkin back and forth,"I'd pay for that" "I'd this" "I'll that" ....One guy genuinly offer the hunt in a PM or preferably email with proper contact info...I will genuinly accept with the one and only $ condition I put forth already,and we're good.
