Are you a powder HOARDER? Am I? Is your buddy?

I hoarded a few quarts of motor oil a few years ago.
The stuff I bought is now going for twice what I paid for it.
You can be sure the price of powder will do nothing but go up.

I don't know about that. I've been reloading for more than 30 years and I've seen it rise and drop many times within that time period. It fluctuates like 22 shells.
 
There does seem to be a normal "supply cycle" so to speak, in what time of the year certain things are more readily available. I have definitely noticed that over the years. I expect that is due to booking orders arriving at distributors and mfgrs schedules. That is certainly affecting what we see and that system has certainly been interrupted over the last 2 yrs.
Hearing stories of export permits expiring before orders are filled, that has to be an issue inhibiting some of what we see on the shelves also. I am sure the vendors and distributors are putting in the orders, they want something to sell, but, the current situation is a bit of an anomaly.
 
Went in yesterday for 9oz. bottle of Trail Boss, but they only had a 5lb. container. Oh well, I hear it can be used in almost everything.
 
If I got to the range even a quarter of the amount of times I wish to, my supply wouldn't last long. But because of work and family and life (sorry, hobbies and firearms don't come first!), I've got a couple of years worth saved up. There are a couple types I'd start hoarding now, if I could ever find them!
