Where are the facts that the T97 is an under performer? What we have here are assumptions. The PS90 is the biggest novelty of them. Ammo is scarce and magazines (from what I know) are as well. Its a niche calibre in this country.
Tavor is superior? Maybe, but how? Just stating its superior is a cop out. I paid $950 for my T97 all in new. Tavor new would cost me 3K. If I bought it used, maybe $2500. Still almost or more than 3x the price. For 99% of what we use these guns for here in Canada I believe the T97 will do everything the Tavor does and with a (reportedly) better trigger. Out of the list you gave it really comes down to the Tavor, FS200 and T97 (calibre similarity) I personally like how much more slim the T97 is in comparison to the Tavor/FS200.
And now you call it a poser? Jeez I really don't know what to say to that. Let me ask you this, which rifle was created first, the T97 or the Tavor/FS200? With that in mind, how can you call it a poser? Bad choice of words IMO.
Able to mount optics without looking so freaking ridiculous is one point for the tavor.
Also tavor being left hand shooting friendly is also a big plus for the tavor.
Let's be honest here, if tavor cost around the same as T97, how many people will buy the tavor and how many people will buy the T97?
