I just can't understand why some people get so uptight when they see something that has a high price tag. This saga reminds me of the uproar when the AMP annealer and the AutoTrickler came out. People lost their collective minds when they saw the price. The same with this press.
I must say, I'm interested in this unit. And I just might take the plunge. Yeah, we get it people.....what you do (and only you) makes every new innovation that comes out utter garbage.
Watching the sh1t show that happens every time something like this comes out is entertaining....sort of.![]()
Agreed that the AMP annealer and the Autotrickler were both innovative products.
I can't think of any induction annealers (that were specifically for reloading) that were around prior to AMP.
Especially brilliant product be because you need not calibrate it (just enter a code).
Autotricker is innovative in that it has the speed (nearly) of a powder thrower and the precision of a trickler built into a highly accurate scale (with some well thought out Blue Tooth software).
This press however not so innovative.
It is a turret style-press, a style that has been made by others (RCBS, Lee, Redding, Lyman, maybe others?) a long time ago.
There is nothing new with this press other than its much prettier on the reloading bench versus the others (and is packaged quite well with that precision cut foam).
Its a forum man... some say "horray" others say "big god-d#mn deal"
