Area not too far from Montreal to try a rifle?

Hi guys,

Didn't know where to post this question... So trying the Hunting sub-forum.

I just acquired an old 22 and would like to try it to see if it works properly. My hunting spots are 300km away. With all the ranges closed for COVID-19, I wonder if anyone of you could recommend a spot like a crown land or "public" pit not too far from Montreal where local people go to safely zero their scopes or plink?

Hey thanks Nagol! Can you provide the coordinates for the pits near Rigaud?

As far as willing farmers, I don't see myself knocking at a door and asking for such permission. But if one is reading this and kind enough to offer. Please PM me

I'm very interested to find a place too. I was looking at googlemaps around Rigaud and I think I saw the sand pits. Are they actually used for this regularly, or is it just a bright idea?
