argh,.bad ideas at GLobal Village

hopefully,...those reading this post will contact their section coordinator in their province.

pok-pok; you obviously have no understanding of the situation here or the people. you are wasting your time and our time with your inane drivel. Take away this one thought; We are intractable and you are incorrigible. Now go away.
Thanks Boss, but I think I'll stay. I agree that Canadians (and Australians too) are the most intractable gun owners in the world yet you also have the toughest gun laws in the world. I wonder if there's any correlation?

Just wondering ....

Jeepers folks, the sky is not falling...

The writing was on the wall for 10 round single stack mags years ago so that's not a surprise. Some production rule changes are required so that guns on 'the list' can actually comply with the rules (M&P Pro). For me, targets & poppers are not a big deal, if you must shoot at humanoid forms stick to IDPA or PPC.

I do agree however that the frequency of rules changes is annoying - but if you look at IDPA which hasn't touched the rules since 2005 there is just as much complaining about equipment woes and COF rules.

Things must be pretty good for us if we can waste all this time arguing over a game.

probably because we have put up with TOO MANY rules. IN fact....our firearms ownership almost started down a path that those in Great Britain took. Only by fighting, appealing, writing, the internet and education have we been able to fight off the hoards of those who "know whats best for us". (LIberal party and NDP party of Canada).

I am trying to see the reasoning for some of the rules,.and I get it.(trigger pull weight, etc)

Small IPSC target and large not in the same stage...?, etc..stuff like that makes no sense. Poppers can be cut, but why is it necessary? What does it accomplish?
I keep hearing "USPSA" come up,...and to be honest,...it sounds more and more attractive to my ears every time I hear about "more" rules. :(

Time for a new tattoo. :D

tell me about it...how the hell am I gonna cover this up...LOL:p

Some of the biggest issues are at the Global village in the rules section. HIT it if you want to make your opinion known.

Btw, by the newly proposed rules, Mo will have to remove his tattoo once his ipsc membership/affiliation expires. :)

they will have to cut it off or use a bench grinder...:ar15:
I probably have to pay royalties soon,...OR they owe me for free advertising.;)

Appendix G1 (scoring hand signals) should go something like this.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN62PAKoBfE

Actually that one proven quite effective at the 2010 Extreme Euro Open match. The score keeper didn't had to follow scoring RO down to the middle of the pond where targets were standing and it was much faster and more reliable then RO shouting the score from 50m away...

Somewhat knowing people running this organization, they will find a way for you to owe them till the end of your life and your kids will be paying your depth to them after your departure. :D

Is Canada the only country with 2 Way Radio's?

Don't think radios are not very useful at the range with 10..15 shooting bays next to each other. I had my earmuffs on for the entire day... and then you should hear how some RO pronounce Alpha/Charlie. :D

Agree.
Pretty much every radio has at least 18 channels. How many times we shoot 18 stages.
Hand signals, I think it is easy to make a boo-boo. I prefer to have a score keeper follow RO to verify the correct call.
