argh,.bad ideas at GLobal Village

I would like to see the small and large IPSC targets used together in a stage...just saves times and does not harm any animals.V:I:

Cant' even use normal and mini poppers/pepper poppers in the same COF under the new rule proposals. 4.3.2.2 :bangHead:

I agree. But what do you think the chances of getting that exception passed?

Slim, depends on if we are willing to fight for it or not, not sure how they could refuse though since the US is already operating under their own rule book and is still a member country...

I now wonder how did USPSA exception passed?

How did that happened that all USPSA automatically awarded the IPSC membership, but not the other way around. In other words, you have to be USPSA member in order to shoot the USPSA sanctioned matches. Vince and several his friends live in an illusion that it is not the case and awarded me my first ban for trying to explain that to them...

Do we really want to go down that road? Think long and hard about what it means.
I didn't mean that we should brake out and start are own thing. But if USPSA can have there own rule book and still be part of IPSC why can we not have are own rule book and call are self CPSA and be part of IPSC. As to rule book changes some stuff in the USPSA rules would probably need changed to meet Canadian law. I don't really know if I like there production rules.

I do believe that you can shot USPSA matches as a IPSC member however you shoot as unclassified. To be classified you have to be a USPSA member.

It would seem that Ontario is getting bigger in the now locked Classic division thread where apparently it was only Madness and his "pals in Ontario" that did not support the new rule proposal. I see disagreement from Australia, Austria, Finland, Philippines, USA and The Netherlands which apparently all must be part of Ontario now.

I gave Vince benefit of a doubt and asked Match Directors of several USPSA major matches, including Florida Open, Area 6, 7 and 8 championships. They all told me I have to be an USPSA member in order to shoot USPSA sanctioned event.

Don't forget, Canada is 2nd biggest IPSC region. http://ipsc.org/results/regionstatus.php#All%20Regions

We must be the largest now that we have annexed Australia, Austria, Finland, Philippines, USA and The Netherlands.

Simple question...................WHY!

Why should anyone have to Cut anything just to appease some numbnuts?

Storm,

I think you missed that I was replying to a post by "dinsdale". He basically implied that his club just bought pepper poppers and probably would not be willing to buy more. I was simply stating that there is a cheaper alternative, if this change is passed at the World Assembly.

I do not support the loss of the pepper popper.

Do you really think you know more than Vinny about how IPSC and USPSA operates, and that you're the guy who must explain it to him? You think Canada is the 2nd biggest country in IPSC. I know for a fact the Philippines has +4,000 members. Ha!

I hope you called Donald Trump and explained property investment to him!

I suppose that is exactly what how Vince thinks. Unfortunately I am in position where it immediately affects me. Unlike him and you, I shoot both IPSC and USPSA matches and have a first hand insider view on a situation.

Besides, I never said I knew more then anyone, but that doesn't change the fact I can be right on some things. Obviously you ignored the fact that my information comes from USPSA match directors. Now you going to argue that those guys don't know who can or can't shoot their matches?

Who cares how many action air members Philippines has? Follow the link from my message and see with your own eyes that Canada officially has 2nd place for 2010 on a membership. It is not my fault if some IPSC secretary got the facts wrong and published them on the web site. Not the first time and likely not the last.

You must have some information the rest of us don't

What were you actually trying to say?

You silly people; any cretin domiciled in Hong Kong is far smarter and knows way more than anyone else in the whole wide world. It is useless to argue or even discuss any topic with such persons as the are always right and you are always wrong because the are the smartest most knowledgeable people extant. Trying to convince any of them of anything is like trying to teach a pig to sing: it will frustrate you and annoy the pig.

The sad part of discussion is that we will shoot IPSC according to new rules.
Most of the IPSC shooters in Canada do not care for rules changes they just wanna squeeze the trigger at the target or a swinger.
If we-Canadians want to move into USPSA we need to have all those who run the show to be on one page with all of us.

Ahahahahaha!!!!!

I really must get over to GV more often :D

See you next week at the Shotgun match.

I hope Ritche remembers his Darth Vador mask
