argh,.bad ideas at GLobal Village

I saw the potential for calling at a recent match that would probably/ could have been called if the current proposal is voted in (10.5.5, second sentence elimination)....I did not pay attention to closely to that, as I was busy watching the real safety issues an RO should be watching for...breaking 90, AD, trigger finger placement, sweeping during the actual shooting of a stage. The draw happens so fast it is impossible to call.
 
I can't believe another year has passed and the nancy-boys here still don't get it; you don't have the power, respect or international connections necessary to take on VP. He has a long reach and can crush the lot of you like bugs, no matter how many insults or attacks you launch against him.

Losers like arancio and stormbanger are simply not in the same league.

Oh I am VERY VERY glad that I am not in the same League as VP.

I would HATE with a passion to be considered to be ANYTHING like that Meglomaniac!

I don't know maybe I just need to readjust the tin foil but I find it interesting that Vasak is Turkish for Lynx and VP is a cat lover that likes to play look at how smart I am word games with people.

In the cases you guys noted, had the handgun cleared the holster when the sweeping occurred?

Actually Quigley the answer to that is quite telling........

We have RULES here at CGN for both the membership and the Mods which is quite the opposite of GV.


At GV VP can run amok all he wants shutting down any topic that "HE" deems distasteful to his agenda. Here everyone is free to post what they want without fear of being banned for having a different opinion.

If I were to ban Vasak for defending the actions of VP it would bring CGN down to the level of GV and the mods down to VP's. That is not something I would support.

It is also apparant that VP does do great things with regard to IPSC in General........it is only within the operations of GV the he fall far.........VERY FAR from the mark. That is the real sad thing here.

Not a one...

I have a great video from Friday of me setting up for a Kneeling Start.........look down and remark about the new rules as I would be DQ'd in and instant.

Mind you most of the people even just walking around would be DQ'd.

JoJoPinto's set up was a DQ if he swayed side to side..........


The whole issue is just plain nuts.

I know that I for one will REFUSE to DQ anyone under that rule..............sweep?. What Sweep? I did not see any such sweep?

MIND YOU..........if that rule does come to pass USPSA will be looking much more interesting as far as matches I would run.

Would you like to associate yourself with someone who treats people?

SO hard to tell, it is almost a non-issue at the draw. we are talking .10.30 of a second (that is being generous) I seriously would have not only issue with anyone making a DQ call at that speed and timeframe,....I would likely doubt the maturity and integrity of an RO who made that call.
 
It is still not considered a sweep if the gun is in the holster its when it has left the holster we get to worry.

There are rules against trolling...and personal attacks on members (like calling someone a loser)

Ignore it if it somehow amuses you...but don't tell me you are following the board rules. You're actually ignoring them.

not surprised, woul'd doubt thtat it will be deleted to show that there isn't any negative reaction to the proposal. What about the thread to ban holsters across the board?.
I'd wager Vasak and POKPOK were the same indiviual or posting comments for the same individual, not that many people around that still say nancy-boy. Lets see who else shows up

No I was not clear.................as an active participant in this thread and the target of some of the attacks it is against the board rules for me to act.

As you can see however Slavex who is not involved has acted.

Rules are rules are rules and they do function...........just not as fast as some would like.
