UPDATE: So O'Dell's warranty guy got in touch with me again finally. Thanks Phil for giving him a nudge... They'll send me a replacement barrel when they get the next shipment in a few weeks.

Ordered one of those new Turkish Canuck HP imported by O'Dell Engineering about a month ago. My friend got one too, and his was fine. The barrel on mine, however...

Yeah that is a crack. And the bore is full of some redish thing that doesn't easily come off when I tried pulling through with a patch and hoppe's gun oil (the chamber is shiny clean!). Called up O'Dell and sent their warranty guy the pictures. He replied immediately that he'll get on it and I'll hear from him soon. That was almost 2 weeks ago...

On an unrelated note, the mags are not pinned, but has something attached to the bottom of the follower to stop it from accepting more than 10 rounds. But on one of my two included mags the follower wouldn't spring up high enough to hold the slide open on empty (still works otherwise and in fact makes a good dry fire training mag)...

.....and how much are they selling these for again? (asks the guy who regularly sees real BHP's sell for 700-750 on the EE)

No offense to anyone who buy these, but real nice Belgian HP's can be had on the EE for less than these clones. Hope you get your issue resolved, or your money back.

We are attempting to get hold of the owner of the pistol. That has not been successful. My name, phone and email is pretty well known. Please contact me directly and we will get this sorted out. Meanwhile we will continue trying to contact you.

Can't say fairer than that...well done..

Phil is a good guy and is good at getting issues fixed, but the OP should try regular contact methods ie phone, email..

OP is saying he's been waiting to hear back for 2 weeks....Vendor says they haven't been able to contact him. This might be something as simple as somebody transposing a couple of digits in a phone number or emails going to a spam folder. If I was the OP I think I would have picked up the phone again at least once before posting here.
