I have it on a 1301. It's nice. Bites into your hands a bit when clamping down hard on it but not terrible. The cable management is awesome.

I bought this gun used. Not sure what company the previous owner used to get the heat shield... but he said he had to have it imported.

Im Leaning towards LTT vs GGnG

Don’t you guys find the LTT design quite odd looking because there’s no connection between receiver and heat shield and the front end is bulky? Imperium is balanced but it’s going to be expensive.

No. The b-link/blink system is a self regulating gas piston system as near as I can tell. There is a sealed gas chamber under the barrel with 2 stages of gas ports. The first stage is very much oversized and enacts on the piston (overgassed). As the piston moves to the rear and acts on the bolt, the second stage (regulation), bleeds, vents the excessive, unused gas through a secondary set of gas ports. Think SKS or Piston driven AR...only 12 gauge and slung under the barrel. The shroud (handguard) protects the piston and return spring.

The result being that all shells, from mild trap loads to heavy turkey loads. cycle the action reliably. As 1ABNDT stated, I think the potential for muck and s hit getting around the action through the Aridus m-lok slots is a concern, but they can be tastefully blocked off.

TacOrd is the best place to get scatter parts. All the goodies on mine came from them. 🐐
 
Our Aridus order has not shipped yet but I expect they will ship soon. Unfortunately they are a small company like us and their production is slow.

On a more positive note, we received a whole bunch of Beretta 1301 Tactical shotguns today to customize.

I bought the Mesa Tactical Truckee forend. Pretty pleased with it. MLock the full length at 9-6-3 o'clock. It's beefy, but lite.
