firist off I don't have pics. I was asked to sell this rifle from an estate and its not registered at this point in time,
Ther is no "MUM" onthe receiver just some characters the 3 rings are on the side from tokyo arsenal(?) its 6.5x50 with a fair bore and lots of crisp rifling
I don't know if these had a dust cover but there is a groove along the upper rec'r.the stock has lots of dings and is a dark wood.
there is no cleaning rod and I don't think the bolt matches. Can I get a rough estimate on its worth? I may list it on the EE, JIM

Yes, they had a dust cover.

Assuming that it is full wood and not cut down I would say your looking at a $150 to $250 gun depending upon condition.

I've owned two, still have one. I paid $125 for one with no mum and $200 for the one with the mum and bolt cover. I sold the mumless one for $150 I believe. This was about 5 years ago.

I bought a T44 about three years ago, $325 with a set of dies, non mum.

Ammo is like hens teeth so your market is the reloading crowd of the milsurp collectors.

does it have a sling or bayo to go with it? skscanuk is right with his prices. i got mine last year with a condition similar to your description for 165 which was market price.

brass is hard to get up here but get reloading dies and use .243 winchester brass. it takes a bit but it will work.

a type 38 just sold a gobles for $350. all matching, frosted bore, VG overall condition, c/w dust cover, sling, and bayonet.

sling is worh 50-75, bayo with scabbard 40-70, dust cover 20-40. so whoever got that rifle got a deal. it was aso all matching.
