We have a very large shipment of DNT and ARKEN OPTICS arriving on Wednesday.

We’ll be getting the following:

DNT
  • ZULUS 5-20x and 3-12x with LRF and Ballistics
  • THERMNIGHT TNC225R, TNC335R and TNC635R
  • HYDRA HS225, HS325 and HS635
  • THE ONE 7-35x56 in MIL and MOA
  • 18650 BATTERY KITS
ARKEN
  • EP5 MIL and MOA
  • SH-4J 6-24x50 (all versions)
  • SH-4J 4-16x50 (all versions)
  • EPL-4 6-24x50 (all versions)
  • EPL-4 4-16x44 (MOA only)
We have a bunch of pre-orders already but we’ll be able to fill some new orders as well.

Thanks for your patience if you’ve been waiting for your HYDRA or THERMNIGHT pre-ordered units!!!

Do the battery kits come with the Hydra's yet?
I don't mind paying a bit of a premium up north but it baffles me a bit why they can't ship the 2 batteries and charger north?

If for some reason it's a battery shipping issue, they could atleast put the chargers in the box.

The hydra's sure look like a nice package!

Unfortunately no. We don’t get our shipments from the US - we get them directly from the factory in China. Battery kits can’t ship from China with the units as all our products are airfreighted in from China, whereas the US get their products sea freighted so they can ship the batteries in the boxes with the units. And you can buy a dual charger for $17 on Amazon if you need a charger without batteries.

Unfortunately the cost of airfreight vs sea freight is enormously expensive which increases landed cost dramatically. And add to that our market is tiny compared to the US so US gets much lower prices and DNT distribute directly in the US whereas we have it distributed in Canada by Oak Trading. They take care of the imports, shipping, warranty etc etc.

I hope it makes sense.

Thanks Robbie that does make sense! I was wondering if you were getting stock via China or the US, all the tarrif nonsense is quite disruptive these days!

I'm pretty set for chargers personally and cells while not free are not hard to source.
ARKEN/DNT run some pretty good package deals down south that's for sure!

Thanks for the chat Can-down. Fortunately the Canadian Importer and Distributor for Arken and DNT (Oak Trading) is based in Vancouver and we get ALL products directly from the factory in China - so NO tariffs on "officially imported" products.

And warranty on all products imported by OAK TRADING is serviced by Oak Trading. Making it a worry-free experience for our customers. And I am always willing to be the middle-man for warranty on products bought from me.

I have not used it, as this is the very first shipment coming into Canada. You would need to watch some Youtube videos to see if it would work for your needs. I can tell you the picture quality overall is pretty much smack bang the same as the $6000 Infiray units. I've only played with them at SHOT Show for a few minutes - so I don't want to make any comments I cannot back up.

they never describe what im asking in specs or in the reviews. If you can tell me that there is not a serious picture delay then i would like to buy one
 
It's allways harder to tell just watching a video but I could not notice much lag when some of the reviewers were panning around, I have a feeling if it was even close to an issue it would have been mentioned at some point. Mostly people seem to be blown away by how good these are compared to the price.

Unfortunately I cannot tell you what you want to know, as I have not used one. And mostly, I cannot use all the products I sell, as it would cost me hundreds of thousands of dollars to open every box and use each product extensively. I'm sorry, that's why people do Youtube reviews on these.

They are great for the money - and beat pretty much all products in their price class. I hope you find your answers - apologies for not being able to tell you. But I'd rather lose a sale than make up some story. LOL.

Ordered ! If it doesn't ship today this is fine I can wait 2 more weeks. I've been procrastinating for too long already hah.
