damn i could have saved myself alot of work buffing off the markings and sending it to you for a paint job sometime in the near future haha... well good service to offer anyways i have this exact 1911 and it runs like a dream

Normally I`d never buy a Norinco but that first pic looks awsome! Do you have any close up pics of the slide where its de-norincoed?
Do you test after assembly and make sure the gun works properly and test fire it?
What kind of sights to these Norincos take? stanard sights?

Thanks for the compliments OZZ we strive to make everything perfect. As for markings they are gone and there is no sign of them. Maybe I can get some better pics to show but you don't see anything. As for test firing, No we do not as we keep these new.The finish never gives any problems. We just take everything from the pistol that is provided and sandblast, debur, parkerize and Arma-coat them. Those sights are the norinco sights that we have parkerized.

Looks like you do a nice job on them. I really think that you should test fire a few rounds from a gun that you have taken all apart and modified the internals from factory.

It will save you from hassles and expenses down the road not to mention your products reputation.

I understand what you are saying.....but we have refinished hundreds of different guns over the last 8 years of business and never ever had one sent back for malfunctions due to refinishing. Sandblasting, and parkerizing internals does not change anything dimensionally on the gun. All that is being done here is the removal of the factory finish and replacing it with a better one. But if you wish to purchase one and are deeply concerned on the function we can gladly test fire it for you so you are completely satisfied with the end result. We can't do this for all the guns as then they would all be sold as used guns. We do guarantee the firearm to function flawlessly unless there is a factory flaw. If and when you do decide to purchase one please bring this to our attention and we can gladly do test fire session for you.

Is there a warranty on the finish?

Yes there is a warranty. As for the coating it will never flake or peel Guaranteed, And the coated parts will never rust. We have never ever had a gun comeback and will keep it that way.We will not cover abuse or damage, such as dropping gun on ashphalt or scratching finish with a punch and so forth.

The Higher price is because your providing the norinco also right? (just checking)

Ops just realized that those were pre finished and noticed the actual price (I'm stupid)

Im not concerned just offering advice you can do whatever you want but whenever you dissasemble a gun to that point, debure and refinish the functioning parts and then re-assemble you can have any number of problems without knowing the problem is there.

I would think that all guns are factory fired after final assembly, this does not make it used, this proves that it functions properly with ammo.

What method are you using to remove the import markings? Are you grinding a few 0.001 off the entire side? Are you filling them with braze? I'm just curious as to any dimensional changes, or any heating of the parts to remove the markings. Looks fantastic thought!

Cheers!
