Yeah, I think armacote would be pretty good for replicating the suncorite (sp?) that was used on some enfields.

so, i have a marlin 917v thats not even a year old but i dont like the bluing because its a hunting rifle and its always getting wet. what parts can i apply this armacote stuff to? barrel/action only? how bout moving parts? would it stick to the spring steel part that holds in/releases the magazine?

would i have any problems with barrel clearance after applying this stuff? already painted my stock and would hate to sand out the barrel channel more.

wut kind of sprayer do u get with the 4ozcan for 34.99? could i just use an airbrush?

canadian hunter312,you can apply Arma-Coat to all metals, plastic & woods.The coating is very thin 1.25mils(1 1/4 thousandths of an inch) thickness,so you will have no need to sand the barrel channel.Small moving parts can be done also with no hinderence.You can buy a sprayer from us but using an airbrush or HVLP spray gun or the like will give you great results also.As for your mag release you would have to dissassmble it and coat each part individually.As for the entire firearm must be totally dissassembled to get the best results.

Robar MP3, Nothing better! Bottom line! I have it on my Sig and S&W Bodyguard and intend to do my Kimber next, maybe even a two tone with Roguard on the Slide and MP3 on the frame, mags and internals.

Maybe the website is under construction (?) Interesting- I hadn't seen body text (the "pig latin", used to simulate the real thing for mockups) since I used to sell Letraset back in the late 80's and '90's!

OK, just did the front end of my M4 in Armacoat flat black. I wanted a more uniform looking upper, 3 different colors were getting to me plus I has scratched the #### out of the barrel removing the FSB to install the FF tube. Here is a before pic: Barrel, FSB, etc all parkerised light grey.

As the surface is already as good as it's going to get (parkerised) for painting, all it takes is 3 or 4 degreasings with laquer thinner and off to the races with the $25 walmart airbrush kit.

I think the next project will be the VZ58 re-paint in flat black........
This is also something you Nork M14 owners could do real easy for cheap and it would seperate your's from the crowd. :wink:
