The AR-10B has not been made for four years at Armalite. It has the charging handle inside the carry handle and the furniture is similar to the original AR-10 model produced by the Netherlands.
I like the look of the rifle and would appreciate the location of the charging handle. A scope can still be mounted but it will sit a little high. I just think the rifle is good with the carry handle as opposed to a flat top.
Armalite told me they will be producing rifles with the 308 designation soon.
I was just wondering if anyone has had one of these rifles and wanted to know what they thought of it.
I'll be looking for one to buy but I am sure they were not popular eilther here or in the U.S. so my search may prove fruitless.

Strange; Wolverine had them on their website at that time. Had he gone through a dealer he could have purchased one. As it stands now, the 10B may be put back onto production or it may not. If it does and it is stamped as a 308 then it will be available for purchase just like any other AR-10.

I said the same thing about trying Wolverine. I was in the process of receiving my AR-180B new from Wolverine (if I would have known they'd be discontinued and doubled in price new on the EE I'd have bought 2).
Anyway, he told me Wolverine did not have any and would not be getting them. That's why he tried to do it himself. So, I dunno.......It was him, not me.
I've kind of expressed interest in the 10B too. I've liked the classic furniture, charging handle within the carry handle and the waffle magazine since I saw a gun collector's CA Sudanese contract AR-10.
It would be nice if they started making them and the 180B again and selling them to Canadians. I'd add a 10B to my collection. Even if it was restricted.
