Armalite AR180B Frequently Asked Questions, revised Dec. 26/07

I would think around $1800 would be reasonable but based on what we've been seeing people ask lately I'd put it up for a little over $2000 and see what happens, you can always lower your price if it doesn't sell.

I think $2400 as in the stated new in box condition. Mine was $1400 in 03 or 04 and were in 2021 seventeen years later, they where only made for about four or five years, their in high demand and scarce, their non restricted for many reasons one of which is they where imported in small amounts, their the basis for several new 180 types and they are the grandkids of the ar18 - 180 historically. Yes I would pay $2400 for a second one for a mate. ---Dieseldog!

Both the Kodiak WK180C and the Nodak Spud 180 lowers for compatibility and butt stock attachment.

I believe the Lynx is also AR180B compatible, and with a Zhukov adapter you have a variable length folder that looks a little like the 180 stock in shape.

After 15 years my 180b met its demise this weekend during a shoot, I've ALWAYS been incredibly careful to never drop the upper against the receiver. Didn't think it would ever break while shooting!

I bought a gen one SBI Lynx last night, wanted the straight magwell and as close to OG look as I can, I'll also order the repair as well and pick it up in the spring when I head south.

If you want to keep the 180 look, you can get a 1913 ar-180 style folding stock from Brownells. The Lynx rear has swappable modules to go from buffer tube to 1913 rail to Zhukov.

Wow it just came apart in your hands. :(
Yea I was pretty shocked!

I still have the original stock as well, stormwerks makes and adapter for it it aswell, I do enjoy the ace stock on this though, but thanks for the heads up!

That happened to mine too. I had only actually used the rifle once, just sits in the safe.

My sons wanted to take it out and they promptly broke the pivot using a fence post as a rest. When I ordered the repair kit I figured I might as well make it a folder too.

It was minty before, but oh well. I like it more now actually and have no worries about the pivot any more.

The variants of wk180, for example with Spec180 lower or with Templar lower, do they all accept the same mags?
If so, any recommendations for the additional mags? Pmag, crossmag etc?
