Armalite railed gas block question.

Have an armalite ar-10, looking to get a set of irons for the rifle which has a railed gas block.

I was wondering if the armalite gas block is high enough to use standard front sights that would normally attach to a railed hand guard?

I know that some railed GB are lower then the standard railed hand guards but the armalite site does not mention of their detachable front sights are lower or not.

Never thought of that, its a good idea. Problem is I'm away from my guns right now for a bit so won't be able to look.

Anyone with a Armalite with the stock railed gas block able to do a quick check? I was eyeing up a few sights on the EE and would like to buy if I could.
