Armalite SuperSASS

Restricted....Its a AR15 variant.

20", 24, 30" barrel does not matter when it comes to AR15/AR10's The lower is registered like a frame on a Pistol and being that you can switch barrel lengths upper etc.

Its restricted.

Thanks for the input. A friend of mine was looking at it. He will be calling Wolverine tomorrow.

Restricted is a no go.

Are there any other very accurate semi-auto non-restricted 308's that you folks would recommend? Other than the Norc M1A?

My buddy is an ex Yugoslav sniper before immigrating to Canada. He would love something accurate that he could also hunt with.

I bet a M1A or Norc M305 would be more accurate when turned then any Yugo semi auto sniper rifle issued. Valmet hunter if he wants to pay 3500 +, Or could get a re barreled .308 M1 Garand.

Not many 308 semi autos non restricted out there...

Armalite isnt the real Armalite that made the AR10.
So when they made the new AR10 they based it off the AR15 to save having to make a bunch of new one of a kind parts. This resulted in 2 things;
Less reliable then original rifles.
Being restricted in Canada.

There is 1 factory semi real AR10 in Canada and its non-restricted.
No there will never be any more.
