How would you grade the following rifles in terms of accuracy and over all craftmanship?

a. ArmaLite M15A4 Carbines
b. Elite CAR A4
c. SPM16

I am looking for 16" barrel with Rear Sight, Gen2 .Stock.

Right now Arma is going for around $1,100.00, RRA for $1,300.00 and LMT for $1,600.00 range.

This will be my first AR. I want it to be a positive expereince.

Thank you for your help guys!:shotgun:

Yep, all those choices would be good. Accuracy of a rifle depends on all sorts of things... mainly the type of barrel (ya I know type of ammo, but we're talking about the rifles).

I have an Armalite, love her and a Stag I have yet to fire. I heard good things about RRA. I would say go with the one that suit your budget. Personally, I'd go with the cheaper one and buy ammo with the rest of the cash.

First two are great but I can't speak from experience about the LMT.

Armalite from Wolverine has great quality, fit and finish and you get great service from Ryan's staff. Armalite or Woverine or both obviously test fired it or laser sighted it since it was spot on right out of the box - no adjustments or tweaking needed.

RRA's are also great quality, fit and finish but I don't think RRA test fired it before leaving the factory since the sights were not even close on opening the case but no biggie or complaints about that. Again, Mark at Questar gives his customers great service.

Armalite for the lifetime warranty....

but you can't go wrong with these 3 since they have great quality. LMT is full milspec do

I was in the same boat and after many hours of research lol, and help from onother member here I decided to go with LMT.

Bit more pricey but I havent heard anything bad about them so...

I say to each their own.

LMT, best of the commercial rifles and essentially at the same tier as mil-spec Colts in my experience.

If outside the budget, I'd look at STAG. I prefer mine over the RRA & Armalite that I've owned/handled. However, they're all good rifles. Great service is to be expected from John & Ryan at Wolverine Supplies if you opt for the Armalite, same goes for Mark at Questar for LMT/RRA and Walt, at ArmsEast for STAG.
