Well it took me about 10 years but I finally got one. Couldn't afford one back then and then the cost went beyond my reach altogether. Former owner bought this in 1999 and didn't fire a shot through it and bought it in to the gun show this past weekend. Needless to say the price was right and I grabbed it. It had been shot prior to him buying it but in mint condition. I was about a week away from buying a Savage 12BVSS but lucked out on this. The cost would have been about the same by the time I bought the Savage and scoped it.

Yes, I am still grinning to finally have one.

Armament Technologies

They are outstanding rifles. you will be more then please with the results. You may want to check what ammo it was set up for. I think he started them all out with moly.

the only down side. You can't blame the gun if you miss. You will only have yourself to blame :p

.308

Bump into Andy once and awhile in Halifax. Hear he is pretty busy these days with his business but will try to get in touch to check on load data. As far as I know these were built by Sam Adams and he is just as busy but may be able to get the load info there as well.

It was way back pre 1996 that he showed me one of these in the basement of his house so I'm a happy puppy all this time later to have one. Still have the spec sheets tucked away in a file drawer some where.

Won't be blameing the gun for any misses - work to be done on the target range.

I have run into a few guys that own Andy's guns and they were shooting the 168 Norma Diamondline. I believe they all were tested with Norma before being released from the shop.

Welcome to the club. Mine did OK with the first match loads I put through her, with Norma 168 Diamondline they rock (yes, I have 2 AT rifles :))! Getting the ammo is the tricky part. Nicholes is the importer and they bring it in once a year I'm told.

I have an AT-M24 and a Wolverine 2000. Love them!

You'll get many great years out of that fine looking rifle.

Armament Technology .223

I used to own an Armament Technology .223 but I sold it after I got injured. I never fired it. The gentleman I bought it from was getting 5 shot groups of 1.9" at 500 yards. The conditions for shooting, were 75 & 80 grain Berger bullets on a calm day. It came with all the precision reloading equipment from Sinclair.
It went to a guy from Halifax and as far as I know he never fired it yet.

It's been a challenge over the years to try and beat the AT rifles that Andy's fired in Precision Rifle matches here in Nova Scotia.

Damn hard to beat him.

I've got a couple under my belt, but not many since I started the LR game in 1996.

If you're in Nova Scotia, have you considered coming out to the NSRA shoots?

NS

There was a nice one in a Toronto area estate sale advertised in the CSS paper last year, maybe two years ago, $3500. The deceased had a few high end tac rifles. The AT was gone when I called, some lucky SOB beat me to it.
My AT M24 will be the last rifle I ever sell and is still my alll time fav rifle.

Come on Pistol Pete, I know it was in the photo gallery, but let's see some more pics...............PLEASE!

The one time I visted Nova Scotia, the mother inlaws wedding, I visited Andy and he was nothing less then a great guy. He was just getting out of the rifle thing then, almost broke my heart as there wasnothign more in the world I wanted, his rifles were awsome.

I too called about that rifle Pistol Pete is talking about and missed it by a day. Since then, that is the only one I have ever seen for sale! Oh well, it was not to be.

For those of you who are lucky enough to own an AT rifle, hold onto it, they are truely one of a kind, just ask the guys at Storm Mountain Training Facility.

Well guys, I knew I got a good deal but after these insights I'm almost afraid to take it out and shooot it - just kidding....

Andy Webber is a true gentleman and a truly a shame that he gave up the firearms line.

Yes NavyShooter, I am in Nova Scotia. I have been a past member of the NSRA but only on the handgun side but may get back into the rifle shooting now. I shoot at the Lunenburg club but limited to 100 yards so the Bull Meadows range is looking good. I work close enough to the DND range on the 102 Hwy that I can smell the powder so not far away from you.

No experience with Moly coated bullets so my question is.... - I have several boxes of 168 GR. Winchester HP-BT Match bullets so any no-no's in useing them in the rifle ? Plan to get it out the first of next week to try it out when time permits.

As to Long Range Canuck on possible sale, I do experience the occasional delusional moment but I don't see it being for sale in the near future - waited to long to get one.

Thanks for the comments guys.. May have to leave my shotguns on the wall for awhile and get some time in with this rifle.

Added another pic for your viewing pleasure.
