Because the RCMP found out that every time you shoot this evil black rifle a baby dies somewhere.....:p There is no reason other than when it came up the manufacturer was so small they didn't get into the legality of it much. Also nowadays we have bigger dealers up here that help us fight for fair classifications based on facts and not looks.
 
Well I guess I missed something in my post. My 7 year old reminds me that he shot 3 clips as well through it. His forst time shooting a firearm and it is a restriced too boot. He got me a gift certificate for father's day for 25 bucks to put towards my resetting target so we can both shoot at it. Iwill have to tkae a pic of him next weekend.
 
Hehehehehe ... kudos on getting them started young! My kids are just becoming interested ( son 5 & daughter 7 ), but I have a bit of a wait until I feel they would pay enough attention to be safe ( still too much sugar fueled energy .. ) but my two neices ( 12 & 23 ) are also showing interest, ever since they made a comment to me about being sort of scared of guns .. I promptly took them down to the workshop and emptied the safe onto my bench. We had a Q&A session, followed by a hands on safety instruction, and now I am arranging to bring them to my range after they come back from vacation for some live fire. They also report they are no longer afraid ... they just never have been thuroughly exposed to any firearms. The .22 is an excellent starter, and you move to the bigger boom from there .. :D

NICE!!! My neighbour across the street has asked me to take his son,12, to the range. I said alright and after having a safety meeting at his house now the dad wants to come with. I showed the father the Armi and he is now dying to shoot it. :welcome: It is infectious and I am a carrier I guess.:D
