I guess the whole time I was serving my country, getting shot at in Afghanistan, and sweating my bag off I was wrong in using the word civilian...

Are both the plates multi-shot?

NIJ 0101.04 does not include multi-shots ( 30.06 AP) in testing of L4 armour - howevever, it does not mean the plate cannot take multi shots.

The spacing of the hits and the type of rounds will affect the number of shots it can take.
