hey i know this has been discussed to death but im havnig issues with windage on my arms 18. would it be possible for someone to post a pic of the problem area of the reciever that may have to be machined down. i've tried a couple different scopes all with the same problem (point of impact way to far to the left)
any help or tips apreciated
thanks

Tried any shims?

My Arms was off and I bought a Cartridge Bore sighter, cut some small shims from a pop can and try shimming behind the screw or in front of the screw along the groove and see if this helps. I used steel shim stock and sorted out my windage issue really quickly with the bore sighter. My scope was pointing to the left and a .015 shim along the groove behind the screw got it pointing pretty much center. Trim your shim to fit and it shouldn't move once the mount is secured on.

If you bore sighted with the Flash Hider on you should remove it. I had one that wasn't concentic to the bore and it threw the scope out on windage. Just a thought.

Same thing happened to me, i am using shims for the time being with good results,
i am using about 20 thou of pop can behind the screw, i figure the receiver is not square with the barrel, good luck
