ARMS Mount Failure

Had an accident today when my firearm fell from a height of about 4 feet, onto a padded rubber work floor, the lever on my ARMS M68 Aimpoint mount sheared right off, somewhat surprized on this happening, but at least now I know why I have been switching out to LaRue mounts for all my my other optics. Any other member had this sort of experience, with any other arms mounts.

Jeez! Milspec parts can break? Better contact ARMS for a warranty replacement.

Your are right but when it is brand new & impact nominal makes me wonder, had this been out in the field the operator would have been SOL.
