armsan a620 = mossberg sa-20 = weatherby sa-20
Yes your right there is a difference but I think I can make it work.

Well, that went rather well (apart from my score, that is...). The gun functioned perfectly- ejection was positive, but not excessive. The stock is way too short for me- but it's a youth gun. The trigger is on the heavy side- about 7.5 lbs, which is a lot considering the gun weighs 6.25 lbs on my scale. I'll get the MCarbo spring kit for it, should bring it down to 5 lbs or so, which is much more reasonable.
We're going to have one happy sprog come Christmas morning!
There is NO Weatherby sa-20! If so - it is a SA-08, 20 gauge. The stocks between A620 and a SA-08, 20 gauge are NOT interchangable.
While I own the A620 and my buddy the SA-08, 20 gauge - IMO the Weatherby is hands down better in fit, finish, operations and they stand behind their products.
While some spend money on questionable trigger springs you can have a better gun out of the box with better warranty without tinkering for the same money. To each their own I guess, lol.
Check your gun's internals. CAD $350 is outer edge for something almost unusable for youth. The sellers are advertising it as a youth gun because of dimensions. But it is not by far...
Nowadays, people post positive opinions about something inferior because they don't want to admit buying garbage.
RR
Garbage? Excuse me but I posted an honest opinion. Yes the Mossberg SA 28 doesn't eject low brass ammo as it should.
But to call it inferior is bull crap. It's a fine shotgun and I have no regrets buying it.
Maybe some day you will see the light but I kinda doubt it..lol
There is always this one guy who says "mine is better
than yours"lol
Good for you on the no regrets part. Maybe soon, lol... Mine is no better as it is the Armsan A620 and yes IMO it is inferior to a Weatherby SA-08 in every aspect.
Well, it (A620) simply does not function as advertised, has terrible ergomoics, no viable warranty support combined with a cheap stock design. So what's to like? The price?
Some people like anchovies on their pizza and some don't....what's your point?
I'm happy with my Mossberg SA 28 and their will always be that one guy who says; mine is better.
Nope...lol
The Weatherby SA-08 20 gauge has been discontinued in favour of the Element inertia operated guns. The SA-08 28 gauge is an Armsan gun.
Don't let anyone tell you that these Armsan made guns are junk.
Five shots five birds.
