Would someone be able to tell me what WMU Armstrong Ontario falls into, I cant locate it on the map that is included with the PDF copy of the regs, if someone would be able to help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Was there last year, native harvest of moose is crazy, did not see a thing, the odd track and one poop pile, will never go there again, it was beautiful land just not many moose, I'm sure there are some but we were very disappointed

We hunted there a few years ago (approx. 60km-s East of Armstrong and 15km-s on a dirt road North of Airport Rd). A young bull walked out of the bush and kept going in front of the truck for a good mile on Friday night just before the season opened. It kept our spirits high for a while but we never saw a thing after that. The road was always busy with trucks and ATV-s. Desperate hunters were driving everywhere, even on the most remote trails. We did hear a few shots - from quite a distance - but the MNR officers told us that the shots came from fly-in camps. That explained why we heard and saw many bush planes. BTW, the MNR was patrolling Airport Rd and they stopped and checked every hunter we talked to. There are lots of local restrictions in the area due to fly-in camps. Access to some lakes is prohibited, ATV trail riding is limited but you'll only find out when you're there...
Not too many grouse either. I think we only shot 3 or 4 the whole week.
Needless to say, we got skunked and came home very disappointed. We're never going back.

Poor natives gotta eat moose all the time.
They should open a Tim Hortons and a Wendys up there!..:D

So pretty much armstrong is a waste of time if you plan to do any hunting?

Sadly, I have to agree with wood800. My buddy's and I tried hunting outside of Armstrong for 2 seasons about 10-11 years ago. We'll never go back, as it's a complete waste of time for us. We went up for the last 2 weeks of the season which took us through the middle of December. If the locals find fresh tracks before you, no matter the time of day or night, you and the moose don't stand a chance. We actually heard sleds go by our camp at 2 am one night followed by rifle shots about 20 minutes later. That said, fresh tracks were scarce. IMO there's a very low likelihood of getting your moose around there.

Ahhhhh......... I forgot the best part.
Calling works well. One morning I heard a strange answer to my call so I stayed at my spot but kept calling. Less than a half an hour later a hunter appeared on the trail, carefully walking towards my hiding place using a cheap electric caller. :D
