Armtech Canada

I have bought little trinkets from him as his shop is close to my hometown. I have had the opportunity to fondle many of his custom-built actions, and I have chatted with many of his customers that were in his shop. A very large amount of his business is with competition shooters, and his work seems to be to say the least spectacular.

Francis customized my rifle. He gives a fantastic service and do a good job.
I never tried one of his action but the work he did on my Rem is without any reproche :D

I know a lot of guys who have bought complet rifles from Francis or have had work done on their rifles and I don't know anyone who has not happy with his work. He installed a large knob and a Sako extractor on my Rem 700 bolt....worked great :)

I have only heard good things about ARMTECH which goes back almost 6 years now. Unfortunately I have never handled any of their work, but from what I'm hearing they should be top notch.

Communication in early 2000 was absolutely terrible. The impression I had at that time was you better speak french and you might get a response. I guess business was booming and they weren't too concerned about getting back to people.

long day at work I wrote it fast when I got home I mean DEER I see you are from quebec too so I will give it to you in french just to make sure I get it right chevreuil this time

They do excellent work. They're the only ones that touch my rifles even if they are far away from my place. Francis & Gerard aren't just gunsmiths, they compete. They're big on benchrest and they make their own actions, including one in .50 BMG. Check out their website: www.armtechcanada.com

Bud, I wish they shot competative Benchrest LV HV class. We could use a larger pool to make a competitive Benchrest World team. Right now we are struggling to get enough members to put teams into World competition.

just wanted to add from my experience. I recently bought a S$W 1550 heavy bareled from one of the fellow GN. I had it bedded, chanel opened and cut and recrown to 21 inch.

Francis did the work.

I was shooting 3/4-1inch groups at 100. It now shoots 3/8 and 1/4 occasionally.

oh yeah, and I don't reload....

Can't be happier than that!!
