Army issued Winchester M64?

Quick question, anybody knows how many Winchester M64 where issued to the Canadian army? My father picked one up this weekend with the c broad arrow stamping on the stock and receiver...

Yes, they were issued to the Pacific Coast Militia Rangers during WWII. (along with Win 94s and some Marlin 30-30s.....)

Aparently the Rocky Mountain Ranger were also issued Winchesters.

About 2500 Winchester m94s were ordered and unknown number of M64s. The Rangers also were issued Marlins , about 1800. many were turned back in to the military and destroyed. The Rangers were allowed to purchase their rifles after disbandment for the sum of $5.00. How many were bought is anyone's guess so You can consider them a rare commodity.

The Winchesters were marked with the broad arrow on one side of the stock, action and forearm, the Marlins on the opposite side.

Thanks, I haven't looked at the forearm, but it did have the stamp on the right side of the stock and action.
