Did anyone notice the last sentence, ( coat all parts with light coat of oil ). Enuff said.
I suppose if you live in a jungle or rain forest, oil is the worst of two evils. I prefer to keep my gas piston and bolt dry and oil free.
There are several versions of printed manuals for SKS rifles, this one is less comprehensive and has fewer photos than others. I've saved the PDFs for printing, but don't recall the links. Perhaps someone else has them handy.
Although its nice to have your internet resources, I print off all the manuals for the rifles I have. When your hands are greasy or full of oil, its the lesser of opportunities to be using an expensive laptop.
