Arsenal Firearms - Strike ONE

Don't post page numbers for where posts are, post the post number instead like this is post 64, some of us run 100 posts a page eh.

Nice videos though, a little slappy on the trigger... what's the bunker to your left for?

I like this russian version more than the strike one, they rail is not rounded like in the strike one and the rear sight seems to have a standard slot to slide into (not sure).
I also noticed that there is an angle/piece of polymer protruding right at the centre on the beavertail section, I wonder if that bothers your hand after a long range session...

I want this gun, I just don't want to deal with stuff like this. Watch what happens at the end of the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qpkk0Ax6Y1s
Hope this was corrected, and these guns will be on par with Walthers and Glocks

I prefer the Russian version too, it also has adjustable back strap, and ribbed top of the slide..
But, chances of getting them here are probably slim, so got to be happy with what we have.

As for the ridge on the beaver tail, it's there to add support, and I didn't feel it at all when I was shooting, don't think it would be an issue.

The Russian does have some different features. Odd that there are so many, but that may be because they are made in two different places.

The ridge isn't even noticeable when shooting. Non issue.

I wonder how it would feel after 2 days and a thousand rounds?

Well, considering how an AR15 trigger guard rubs the crap out of my middle finger knuckle, and the bottom of the Gluck trigger guarantee does as well, after 100 rounds, and this strike one ridge did nothing, I'm not worried. It feels natural. Fits the hand. If it was rubbing my hands the wrong way, I'd have felt it. Dry skin isn't very forgiving.

I've got big mits though. Maybe small hands could be affected.

Yes, very confusing, why taking features out? the backstraps are a big plus.
I am confused as to who/where are made. Are some guns Russian and some Italian? ...

Again, Yes.

From an online review...

"The Arsenal Firearms company manages a main production plant in the northern-Italian town of Gardone Val Trompia – the heartland of the Italian gun industry – and a Russian factory, located in Moscow, where a version of the AF-1 Strike One known as the “Strizh” will be manufactured for the local military and law enforcement."

Two factories owned by one company.

These Canadian sold pistols are made in Italy. Magazines are produced by Mecgar.

Italian versions made for civilian sales.

Russian versions made for police and military sales in Russia.

Whats the update? How's the gun holding up? Where are the new pics and videos? You are obliged by law to post updates since you are the first owners of SOs in Canada.

Lol.. Bussy building a deck, didn't get a chance to shoot it more. Going to the range next weekend, I'll try to provide more updates.

How about the other owners? Any videos, pictures, targets...????

so what the hell happened to all the Strike One hype ? Where are the pics and reviews ? I haven't seen a single new video on youtube.
Are they malfunctioning like crazy and the owners are keeping hush hush.
