Arsenal Firearms - Strike ONE

so what the hell happened to all the Strike One hype ? Where are the pics and reviews ? I haven't seen a single new video on youtube.
Are they malfunctioning like crazy and the owners are keeping hush hush.

One, if not my most, accurate pistol. Love shooting mine. The biggest problem I have right now it finding a holster (which Interammo has in the next shipment) and finding extra mags (which will also hopefully be in the next shipment.)

If it was malfunctioning like crazy, people would be #####ing.

I have a bit of a bad news.. Took a slide apart the other day, and realized that I CAN'T notch the slide for a RMR or similar optic. There are to cylindrical openings that run along the slide close to the top of the slide, so even if you find a way to cut a notch, there is no room to drill for the screw. I'm planing to use this gun for IPSC, but it will only qualify for open division, so now that I can't have a red dot on it, I'm disappointed.. How cool would it be if it was Production devision legal :(

Is there room to cut a dovetail slot? I have a Burris Fastfire II mounted on my G34 using the stock rear sight dovetail. So far it's been very secure through a couple thousand rounds. Too bad this particular G34 didn't turn out as accurate as I had hoped.

I have had my Arsenal Strike One pistol for some time now. However family duties and commitments prevented me from getting to the range. However this week I finally made it to the range.

All I can say is WOW! I very quickly realized that this is the most accurate and consistent pistol that I own. Once I became use to the trigger pull (very good), the pistol performed amazingly well.

I am very happy that I purchased this pistol.

Cheers!

While it looks like good gun, not sure how to use it for games like IDPA or IPSC without access to parts. With such volume of shooting you race you gun and want to customize it at some level.

More updates, more reviews! These will be in the US (Sept) and we all need to know everything. Help your southern friends out and post some good stuff.

Hi, I'm from the states, and was wondering if you fellow Strike One owners could answer some questions for me. First, how is the trigger reach compared to a Glock Gen 3/Gen 4? I have short fingers and was wanting to know this. What is the trigger take up distance from all the way forward till the firing pin drops?

Thanks in advance! :)

I was hoping to see more info about this gun, but even on youtube there is very little.
There was one on EE recently...

This gun really draw my attention and I would like to get my hands on one to try. Unfortunately, there are no dealer in GTA have them in stock. Also, I don't see anyone in my club has one yet.
It would be nice if they made the factory barrel length in 127mm instead of 128mm to be legal in IPSC production division. Sure it would be a real challenger for CZ75 shadow.

Dmitri, do you have more video or range report? Appreciate with an update.

Cheese,

I know, right? You'd think with a gun like this that seems to be so revolutionary, that there would be more reviews, I don't get it.

Hey guys, I have been really busy lately, no videos to show at this point. But, for those who live in GTA or Hamilton area, we could all meet at Silverdale and I will let you guys shoot it. This way you'll get a good idea of what it is before buying. And maybe we'll take few good videos for the rest of CGN.

I usually go on the weekends, mostly Saturdays. Next Saturday (sep20) I will be there 1pm-3pm.

Let me know if someone wants to try it out.

I kind of like this pistol. But... the price is high. There is someone bringing them in now for $1125. If they were priced in the M&P/Glock range I'd buy one in a heartbeat. But when I picked up a brand new from a store Walther PPQ Navy for under $800 it's a hard sell to pay over 1K for a new Italian made but little known manufacturer. I look forward to seeing more reports on these. I like what I see but there was definitely some sticker shock.

You are very generous. I hope I have time to come.
But I am more interested in you HK P7.
