Hi guys,
Does anybody have an opinion on Arsenal (bulgarian made) rifles. Any pros and cons are welcomed.

SLR-97 LUX
SLR-101

Is there a list in which SLR-97 LUX hunting rifles are listed so I can verify possibility for import?

Thanks

They aren't restricted, they are prohibited, as they are AK variants... So no dice
I don't anywhere in the company's web something to say AK-47. Moreover CZ 858 looks also like AK but is NR. Take look Arsenal's web and tell me what you think.

I don't need to look. They don't just look like an AK, they are an AK. The CZ is not an AK, the arsenal's are. You want an AK based hunting rifle, pinch your pennies and find a Valmet.

I don't want to argue, but if SLR are prohibited, how Valmet are not. Also as per technical spec SLR are very good. So far I haven't see any technical specs including Valmet. Are Valmet NR?

I wanted one of these, that hardly resemble an AK in any way, but no dice!!! They come in 223, 7.62x39, and 308Win...

Some of the Valmet are NR. The Hunter and M78 models I think? They're NR because the Liberal government imported some for the Natives, and it would be a spectacular political disaster to prohibit the rifles now.
Milarm in Edmonton has a Valmet in .223 Remington hanging on the wall. Somewhere around $1500 I think, forget the model.
