Arsenal Strike One Speed pistol

How about because unlike all other polymer guns the Strike One has a unique locking system with in-line recoil and lowest bore axis?

With questionable reliability and limited aftermarket support. All yours for 2x the price of an M&P.

Being a new product some pistols may have had some insignificant issues easy resolvable even by the owner. And there is a tremendous support by the manufacturer. Interesting observation on the aftermarket. The Strike One is only little more than 2 years on a Canadian market, less than that in the USA. As of today already several companies in states manufacturing accessories and customizing the pistols. Take a look at Rain6, or International Firearms Corporation for example. Salient Arms as part of Arsenal Firearms International will introduce their version of the gun Stryk A and Stryke B (compact) shortly. DPM offers reduced recoil systems. Amadini makes variety of holsters for Strike One. Fab Defense makes KPOS for the Strike One. The Arsenal Firearms offers 12" barrels for the true conversion to carbine. None of the other pistols would cycle the 12" barrel. Arsenal Firearms custom division offers a competition trigger. I know of one person in Edmonton who is experimenting with manufacturing compensators. And yes, the Arsenal Firearms offers the threaded barrels. The after market steadily growing. Here is an opportunity to start manufacturing aftermarket parts and accessories and offer your exclusive product. Or you prefer to wait when somebody else will do it? If so, give it another 3-5 years. Regarding the price there are plenty of less expensive and more expensive pistols on the market. Which is absolutely great to have a choice.

Guys, please don't get offended. I haven't have my morning coffee yet :) Yes, the first run was not entirely perfect. However, these pistols with jam claims that were sent to us function flawlessly with all factory ammunition. They have had issues with crappy reloads e.g. bulged casings, incorrect bullet depth, low powder, etc. I had two random pistols at Rampart range day in May 2015 no single malfunction. I had two other pistols at CAFSAC in September 2015. 1200 NATO rounds through each in less than an hour no single malfunction. I have videos of Brits, Americans, and of course Canadians shooting our so called "first generation" pistols at that event. No, pistol is not available in Russia as "Strizh". It was planned, it didn't happen. All production is in Gardone val Trompia, Italy.

I found bulged casings jam mine up. Runs all factory all day. I put 1000 xmetal factory 124gr. Rounds through it no problem. Got some reloads with bulged cases and got jams. It happens when you have a tight chamber any other competition pistol has the same problem.

I don't think stock Glocks or M&Ps are even in the same category the Strike one is more like the M&P pro longslides or Walther PPQ Q5 match. So I don't see how the price on them is really out of line at all.
