marking on the bottom l close to centre hole e.f. on outside rim
approx weight8-10lbs 9 (empty)

material brass? not very heavy

so you still havent posted the dimensions in metric yet, but you give a height of 23" for the brass case.

23" x 25.4mm per inch = ~584mm

And if it is 3" at the mouth, that is 76mm

So...

76.2 x 585R
