Picked her up tonight.

It's really something to look at. While i haven't bonded with it like i'd hoped, maybe some time at the range together will help. Here are some pic's.

Nice pistol!

Even though I am not a huge fan of stainless 1911's, still Ruger has done a very nice job with this one.

balance off? or just the grip feels different? if there wasnt a 4week turn around i would probably purchase it, hand is forced to buy from suppliers if i want quick sales.....

As i said in another thread, i'm not too big on how it feels in my hands. I'm used to holding polymer pistols. I also figured if i shoot it a bit, it might feel different. However, it would be easier to sell not having fired it.

If you don't shoot it...you'll never know! Maybe you would sell your polymer gun??;):D

All my first pistols were polymer as well. I then moved on to the 92A1 and then a Shadow. I now have the SR 1911 and will never go back. I love the weight and feel of the pistol. I will keep my poly guns but this baby is my new favorite.

Now I have to start reloading so I can afford to keep putting those big 45 slugs downrange!
