ASAT camo pattern

Has anyone had some direct experience with this pattern ? I'm looking to pick up some new camo this year and was wondering about this pattern.

Also, does anyone know of a site with good prices for the stuff ?

I have a few sets of it, I find it blends in best in prairie/scrub brush areas. Central/southern Alberta is where I utilize mine. Also really blends in anywhere in late fall when the leaves have fallen. Outdoor pursuits canada has a great selection and good prices.

i love asat, I've used it for all kinds of animals and have gotten them really close to me while wearing it. I would either use asat or predator patterns

It's good stuff. I've got animals to come a lot closer using a ghillie jacket though. Nothing beats that IMO.

Yes I've used it. Hard to say whether it works any better or worse than any other pattern. Check ebay or archerytalk.com - usually can be found at a good price. Even the ASAT website itself has decent prices, especially in the clearance section. The trouble with ASAT is that the quality of the clothing is pretty poor. Some companies like First Lite make very nice stuff using the pattern, but the gear from the ASAT company itself is not so great. If you want to try the pattern I'd suggest just buying the ASAT Leafy cover suit and putting it over your existing gear.
