223/5.56 – 10 Round Canadian compliant LAR-15 Pistol Magazine

This pistol magazine tube has been crimped and permanently restricted to 10 rounds. Because of this the follower can not be removed although the magazine can be disassembled by removing the base plate and spring for easy cleaning. These magazines function flawlessly in all pistols chambered in either 5.56 or .223.

Will these mags seat on a closed bolt with 10 rounds in them?

If I could remove the follower and trim 1/16" I would have no issue with them, but if I can't remove the follower the answer is important to me.

It literally states that the follower cannot be removed.

And these are crimped to a tight 10 rounds, so don't go off buying these and expecting them to load on a closed bolt (without a hard slam).

No they won't. You might manage to insert the mag, but then the follower will be stuck on the crimp. For all practical purposes, these are 9 round mags.

Still better than the usual 5/30 mags though.
