Good afternoon,

Was wondering if anyone has reloaded for this combination? I tried the load (worked up to it) that the chap who sold me the rifle said worked really well.

It isn't working for me. Getting groups of 2" and a bit. Would like to go smaller. Using remington brass. Federal GM210M primers. Barnes 100gr TTSX bullets and H4350.

Would changing the primer make a difference or should I start looking at trying another powder? When I was researching loads a lot of people tended to favor the H4350 in this cartridge.

Thanks,

Karl

Have you tried different seating depths ? I found a couple of real sweet spot's with the TTSX between .060 to .070 off the land's. Just a suggestion,

I have been seating to the book depth of 2.780" up until now. I thought I had found that the throat was short when I first started working up loads. Today using a fired case with the mouth pinched for some tension I got an OAL of 2.920" with the barnes bullet.

I would repeat the col measurement to the land's a few time's, to ensure a accurate col. Barnes I believe recommends seating them .050" (jump) to the land's. But I always seemed to find the sweet spot @ around .060 to .075 jump.
