Asking for help...

Well, I suppose I should be the first to admit. I'm a bubba. There, I said it.

I've got a stud and a wingnut on my Handi Rifle, so that I don't need a tool to disassemble it. I may have unintentionally lost the proper screw, I may have it in a drawer somewhere, but for the purpose I intend the bubba'd replacement works better than the original.

Just saying, it's an option if you can find the correct diameter and threading. Maybe not permanently, but it can't hurt to find out that Home Depot carries a twenty cent alternative.

Isn't the proper term for a "bolt" a Capscrew?

I think sometimes. Sort of. All capscrews are bolts but not all bolts are capscrews. A cap screw is a type of bolt. Shoulder head cap screw, ferry head cap screw, hex head cap screw(internal and external) to name a few. Then you get really weird stuff like step studs onto which you thread a nut that turns the thing into a cap screw... Not sure I've seen many of those though, not sure where the idea came from.
