Asking for musket cap help

Hey I’ve been doing some looking into musket caps to shoot in my 1861 PH enfield. I have read that the cci multi use/reenactor caps have a bad reputation and that the rws 1081 are much better however I see no availability in Canada. If anyone could tell me what you all are shooting to get good results and where you get it from would be appreciated thanks

I been using the CCI multiuse caps with my original P53 Enfield and they've been 100% so far. If you have issues. Buy an original P53 nipple (same thread as PH) from IMA. The original nipples have a larger flashhole in them.

I shoot mine (PH and original) with CCI caps.

They do have a lot less zip than RWS ones, but yes you cant find those in canada.

For the most part, fine. I have only ever had difficulty if there is a bit of junk in the way of the flash such as after a field clean or a bore wipe. This can happen with any cap, but the snappier ones can blast through it better. this can normally be resolved by a pricker through the hole, or stuff a bit of powder in the nipple hole for some extra zing.

Anyway, they will work fine. just go buy some abd shoot.
