ASM 1858 in 44, cylinder gap and hardcast

yeah, its really out of shape.
i sent a message to the interested parties because they asked first if nothing come up ill put it up for sale (only the parts, no frame) and have the receiver desactivated or what ever they call it.

thank you people for the heads up, its a shame because guns ain't free, at least we prevented an accident.
 
try putting the ruler into the sight groove on the top of the frame and see if it parallels the barrel.
tried when the picture were taken, the top got a downward curve to it vis-a-vis the sight groove. checked anyway but it still come out to the barrel looking like it dropped a couple of millimeters.
 
i would have liked to know how on earth can you stretch a frame like that, but i guess ill never know.
parts were sold to someone, at least its not all going to be scrapped by the government.
