AT-15 Pistol Magazine

I like that AT15 might have to get myself one. Wonder if they could put a Noveske NSR on it?

It looks beautiful. If you don't thinkk it looks beautiful that is ok, but even at that it is beautiful because it has led to the creation of a ten round pistol mag that looks like a twenty round mag.

CGN has been full of threads begging for a 10/30 mag. ATRS has decided to do a 10/20 looking mag and that is awesome! For me it fits what I've wanted. A longer, polymer style mag that looks like a typical mag, yet isn't nearly flush like the LAR mags.

Well done ATRS.

Just curiosity, but if changes are made to the mag to make it function in a non-ATRS AR, is it still legal after the changes are made - this wouldn't affect using the mags in an ATRS pistol (the mag would remain a pistol mag) but if it is altered to allow it to function, is it still a pistol mag?

Why would you alter the magazine?

It's a rather grey area. I know it's legal to modify a firearm to accept other magazines, such as the SKS that uses XCR pistol magazines, but I'm not sure how altering magazines is viewed.
 
The ATRS AT15 magazines is manufactures for the ATRS AT15 pistol, can't we just let sleeping dogs lie for christ's sake!!!!
Now how do I get this to work in my STAG lower????

Got 3 of the AT15 pistol mags last week.
My Armalite was GTG.
Both sons Colt 6920s GTG
Other sons Eagle Arms lower. Really had to slam the mag in to get it to stay in.
Cut the back of the mags out with my pocket knife at the range. Now all mags work properly.
Friends Blueline lower GTG
Friends ATRS lower GTG
