AT-15 Pistol Magazine

Just ordered 5 a couple mins ago (17:45). Was told they would be sent out tonight. Wow, now that's service! Can't wait to get them.

Yah they usually get there within 2 days for me in Burnaby. I must say the guys at ATR are impressing me with their service. I'm not used to actually being treated like a human being.

I'm used to being spat, peed on and biatch slapped a few times, kicked to the floor and the door slammed on my skull by the gun store staff here in Vancouver.

ordered 10 and just recieved them, seem like well made..... they lock up no problems in my daniel defense with just a little tap on the bottom or a forceful insert, seems to feed and extract. only "issue" I have is the rounds seem to load loose, sometimes the round below seems to have enough room to get past the round your loading like the magazine is a tad to wide....

going to give them a run friday in preperation for a 3 gun gun match saturday, see how the work and if nothing else fall back to the LAR's.

Shot 200 rounds on my first 2 at15 mags in my tavor, so thats 100 rounds each, 10 refills each, and they worked perfectly. I had to cut the V into a [] out of the bolt open just to be sure, but they're perfect. I now have 8 will probably order another 7 by the end of August, I'll keep my LARs for the type97.

I wonder how many AT15 mags have been ordered/sold since I started this thread. Maybe ATRS will send me a Christmas card or something.

Anyone want to donate an AR upper so I can test out my magazines?

Maybe they can permanently lend you one of their high end custom ar15 builds they have for sale. They look kick ass!

That'd be a dream. I'd gladly be the ATRS poster boy. Maybe the mag wraps with my artwork on them will fit the AT15 mags. That'd be pure gravy. Yeah boy, going to pimp those wraps so hard when Select Shooting Supplies gets them in.

Who am I kidding, if anyone were to be getting free guns around here it'd be TV.

One of these days I do plan to order an ATRS gun...at some point when I pay off all the other stuff I'm buying.

The Mag Wraps are sized for a standard 30 round mag but you should be able to trim them to fit your AT-15 mags. Put the mag in the mag well and use a pencil to draw a line around were the mag well finishes on the mag and trim the mag wraps just above that line.

Now that the Mag Wraps have arrived I tested my theory that they could in fact be fitted to an AT-15 mag. I wont lie, it was a bit of work in that I had to plan the placement of the material and use a sharp knife to trim the top, bottom and sides. The mag wraps are sized and shaped to fit standard 30 round mags without any of this effort so this work is ONLY required to fit them to the AT-15's.

Here are some photos of my favourite Mag Wrap design "Canadian Dark Arms" designed by CGN user stevebot-7.

This thread was good reading until about posts 120 - 130 where some "nudge-nudge don't say it out loud" wording left some doubt as to what exactly was being alluded to. That's a great attitude for a forum, not.

Anyway, has anyone tried them in a DPMS (Oracle). I got one mag with the, as yet, unfired rifle (D&H, pinned to 5 and pretty tinny like they used metal about as thick as a pop can, lol) and have two LAR-15's in the mail but would like to order a couple of these AT-15 mags. I would just like to hear from someone who has tried them in a DPMS to see if there were any "issues".

Cheers.

Mine Had the problem, Not exactly a problem if you ask me, but our stupid rules are set up that way.... So I had to send them back for new ones since I dont want to go to jail and have my firearms seized over that sh!t.

Nothing needs to be said out loud....
