At Last - A Review of March 8-80x56 Rifle Scope

I have run March 10 x 60's on my F-Class rifles for a number of years now and have had zero problems with them using a magnum caliber F-O rifle. However, I have found that I seldom shoot much over 40x for all my matches. Sometimes, in absolutely clear air in the mornings, I will dial up to 55x to experiment but this is rare now. The big advantage I see, is the when the Sightron and Nightforce scope users are dialing the power down in the heavy mirage conditions I don't have too and still continue to shoot at 40 power. Again, very rarely do I have to dial my scope down even on a hot summer day. 40x is perfectly fine to shoot right out to 1000 yards and there isn't any advantage to dialing up that I can see. Would I value the ED glass as the big benefit of these scope? The answer actually is no I wouldn't. The big advantage I see for them is the combination of tactical turrets with zero stop, the type of reticle and the fact for my eyes the parrallax and focus adjustment is very easy and stays consistent during a match. I have issues with my eyes and had had issues with Nightforce in this regard. For me, March gives very good value for money. I have shot across the west and US in all the big F-Class matches and see mostly Sightrons and Nightforces being used. I beleive I have only seen one or two S & B used so they really aren't a factor in the game I play. Steve

If any dealer out there has one and wants me to write a review I will be very happy to do so.

The problem here is that A) NONE are available yet as NF has not been taking orders yet and will not until SHOT and B) the lead time is expected to be a few months.
We WILL be ordering some along with some of the other new offerings from NF at SHOT, so be patient and i will try to accomodate you.

That sounds great - I look forward to it. I may run into you at SHOT as I am going this year.
