I am looking to apply for an ATC here in Ontario.. I work for a helicopter company and spend time in Northern Ont, Manitoba and the NWT.. I usually just carry a shot gun with me however space is very scarce as we carry all our spares with us and a pistol would be better suited to my work enviroment.
I currently have a restricted PAL.. and I have been reading some of the post on here about regulations regarding the ATC..
Currently I only have a pistol in 9mm. Is this going to be an issue? Just reading some posts - some mention they will only get and ATC if its 357 or greater.
Also is there anything I should be aware of before I call the CFO?
Any help would be appreciated..
